On the BBC's channels on the Astra digital platform the first sad and tangible signs of the beginning of the end for the BBC's CEEFAX service had appeared.
But wait... what's this...?

May 2002 and the BBC appears to have had some sort of change of heart. Perhaps they have realised that people don't want to fire up their computer (or the son/daughter's computer) just to find out what's on tv. |

They have now brought back a very limited service on the Astra digital outlets of BBC1 and BBC2. |

Oh well... Better than nothing, I suppose. |
