ANCILLARY TELETEXT SERVICES

Each ITV region, Channel 4 and Channel 5 each have space in the VBI (vertical blanking interval) allocated for their own use. This is where subtitles, PDC information and ancillary teletext services live.

Channel 4 has magazine 300-399 allocated, whereas ITV regions use pages 600-699. Channel 5 is using 500-599. Intelfax Ltd are contracted to provide most of these services.
