ORACLE INDEX - 1980

 

This Oracle index dates from 1980 - two years before Channel 4 was to start...

Although Oracle's content was, by now, very comprehensive it was not regional. Instead it was possible to call up pages of tv schedules from each individual region.

The news pages were provided by ITN whose content and page layout was always of an extremely high standard.
